The Public Health Skills and Career Framework (April 2008, revised March 2009) was a tool for describing the skills and knowledge needed across all groups and levels of the public health workforce.
At the request of the UK Public Health Workforce Advisory Group, the Public Health Skills and Career Framework was the subject of a partial refresh between November 2012 and February 2013, at which point an updated document was produced under the title Public Health Skills and Knowledge Framework. The original Public Health Skills and Career Framework is included among the resources on Health Careers because of its historical value, pending the completion of ongoing extensive revision of the document.
