Pilot project launched for return to practice for AHPs

Are you an allied health professional (AHP) looking to return to practice? Health Education England (HEE) is running a pilot project in the East Midlands to support potential returnees back in to practice.

HEE working in East Midlands is offering financial, clinical and academic support to any AHP wishing to take the return to practice (RtP) scheme in the East Midlands with a local NHS provider.

Working with a number of East Midlands universities and NHS trusts, HEE is supporting AHPs to gain the relevant skills and knowledge to meet the re-registration requirements for the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). HEE will fund potential returnees with out-of-pocket expenses up to £500, with additional funding for the relevant RtP course or appropriate postgraduate courses delivered in universities in the East Midlands.
