Applying to Higher Specialty Training

This page outlines Higher Specialty Training and provides a link to further information.

For specialties which aren’t run-through programmes you will have to apply for the second stage of training, eg ST3. In order to complete specialty training you need to pass annual reviews and may need to sit membership exams. On successful completion, the Certificate of Completion of training [1] (CCT [2]) is awarded. You can apply for consultant roles six months prior to achieving your Certificate of Completion of Training [1] (CCT [2]).
