A nursing degree also makes you highly employable with 94% of graduates getting a job within three months of finishing their course.

Courses

Nursing degrees are available in every part of the country at some of the best universities. You can study for a nursing degree working with adults or children, or working in mental health or with people with learning disabilities. There are even degrees where you can study a combination of these areas. 

Employability

A nursing degree also makes you highly employable and you can work anywhere as your degree will be accepted across the country and beyond.

Career opportunities

There are a range of career opportunities so there will be something to suit you, no matter what your interests.

You can work in hospitals or hospices, in GP surgeries or provide one-to-one care in people’s homes. Later in your career, you could move into clinical research, management or teaching. You could even take further training so you can perform surgery and prescribe medicine. You might decide that preventing illness is the thing for you, meaning a move into public health.
