Eduardo Chee Lee

Clinical nurse specialist in Renal Genomics

"I work with South East Genomics Medicine Service Alliance but mainly based in Guys and St Thomas and I’ve been in the NHS for over 6 years now."

"I feel like there is a career ahead of me working in the NHS. Especially moving in to or taking part in my new role as a Renal Genomics Nurse Specialist. It’s still very new, and there is still a lot to share to bring awareness not just for fellow healthcare professionals but also to patients and the public to share with them that this particular service will now be available and try to demystify what it is, so that it can be better accessed by the people that needs it."

"If I’m going to give advice to an International Nurse, learning what I’ve learnt now so far, I think its best to express your thoughts be it personal or professional. If you’re looking for career growth the NHS will be able to support you on that. The information is out there. Most of them are free. And you will have the time to have this particular career path of what you choose, and I think that’s quite important."
