This is a one year top-up Practitioner Training Programme (PTP) for clinical engineers. All applicants must be in employment in a relevant NHS department which can support the completion of the PTP Training Manual in the relevant clinical engineering pathway.

All students will enter onto Level three of the BSc Healthcare Science (Clinical engineering) course, after completing the FdSc Healthcare Science course. Once you've completed your two-year FdSc in Healthcare Science, you can go onto this course to get professionally qualified to work in clinical engineering fields such as radiation, medical equipment, renal or rehabilitation engineering.
